The radiator in your vehicle has an essential job to keep your engine cool while your vehicle is running. It moves a mixture of water and coolant through your engine to keep it cool, and it should be inspected once a year to check for leaks, fluid levels, and any debris that can get inside.

Radiator service can include flushing your radiator, and filling the system back up with a new mixture of coolant and water. This will remove any debris that can get inside, or mineral deposits that build up and cause problems with the function of your radiator. This is not common, as most manufacturers only recommend this service every 100,000 miles.

If your engine is overheating, it may be time for your radiator to be inspected. Bring your vehicle to our service center at A-1 Auto Service Center, and a member of our team will take care of the problem.
